Las part\u00edculas son tan peque\u00f1as que podr\u00edan ser aspiradas al respirar. El uso de mascarilla tipo KN 95 filtrar\u00e1 buena parte de ellas para evitar se coloquen en el tracto respiratorio.<br \/>2. Si bien al manejar moto, el aire llega a una buena velocidad al casco, la mascarilla debe colocarse tapando bien boca y nariz, a manera de bloquear el contacto de part\u00edculas con los sistemas de respiraci\u00f3n.<br \/>3. Cambie mascarilla constantemente. As\u00ed no estar\u00e1 saturado el filtro formado por cada una de ellas.<br \/>4. Use lentes de buena calidad. Los lentes evitar\u00e1n irritaci\u00f3n de la vista. Especialmente, no debe escatimarse esfuerzo al adquirir anteojos, aquellos con filtros UV (ultra violeta) ayudar\u00e1n a mantener sano el sentido de la vista.<br \/>5. Evite colocarse en fuentes de emisiones. Estar atr\u00e1s de buses, camiones u otros veh\u00edculos har\u00e1 que el humo llegue al motorista de manera directa. Cuando haga paradas en sem\u00e1foros, ub\u00edquese donde lo miren los conductores de los otros veh\u00edculos y evitando estar en la parte donde los gases llegar\u00e1n directamente.<br \/>6. Limpie la pantalla o visera del casco con agua corriente. Lav\u00e1ndola a diario, tendr\u00e1 mejor visibilidad.<br \/>7. Al llegar a su destino y quitarse el casco, tambi\u00e9n desp\u00f3jese de la mascarilla. Si ya est\u00e1 sucia, t\u00edrela y use una nueva. Su funci\u00f3n ha terminado, ya no le proteger\u00e1 adecuadamente, siendo una trampa de elementos no deseados.<br \/>8. Si a pesar de esos cuidados, llegar\u00e1 a tener un problema de salud relacionado con el sistema respiratorio, evite transitar por \u00e1reas donde haya part\u00edculas suspendidas, como caminos no asfaltados, construcciones y \u00e1reas de operaci\u00f3n de maquinaria pesada.<br \/>9. La protecci\u00f3n estar\u00e1 m\u00e1s completa si utiliza tapones industriales de o\u00eddos, aquellos que permiten o\u00edr sonidos cotidianos.<br \/>10.
